My name is Taylor Walker, I am a sophomore interior design student at Appalachian State University.
I have grown up around design, my parents have owned a custom cabinet business since 2000 and we have recently opened a Kitchen and Bath Design Center in 2018, located in Shelby, North Carolina.
So growing up around design, I was destined to be a designer and every single day I get to be one step closer to my dream.

I am very passionate about residential design, I am learning about both residential and commercial in school. And I can’t wait to see where this business and I will go when I graduate.
While I will be an interior designer with a degree in the field, every chance I get I am working and learning more about interior design. I am so fortunate to have the background and opportunities that I do have.
